I tried this once last year and got roughly twenty seconds of incoherent shouting. I think this one turned out a little better, and for the bit where London Fletcher's voice gets up to tough-to-understand levels I can tell you that he's saying the same thing he always does: "Linebackers set the tone; linebackers set the tempo."They certainly tried their best during the first quarter, as Fletcher and Rocky McIntosh were all over the field. And I suppose Brian Orakpo made an impact as well, just in the wrong way, with a roughing the passer call that wiped out a fumble recovery for the Redskins. Hopefully the tone and tempo will be a little friendlier to the home team moving forward. I Feel So Much Better Now

WTF dudeTakeaway drill: Winning can look like losing, especially when paired with a critical season ending injury, red zone futility and weak playcalling; Steve Spagnuolo can still gameplan against Washington; Redskins fans are flat out of patience.=====Monday walkthrough: The Washington Redskins coin a new term, winning futile as they hold off the St. Louis Rams 9-7 to move to...

Redskins Crush Rams in Two Point Blow-Out

A bad win beats a good loss any day.Make no mistake. The Washington Redskins' win over the St. Louis Rams was a butt-ugly affair over a team that managed two wins in its last 18 games. One of those wins last year came at the Redskins' expense. Washington almost blew this game the same way by allowing a long fourth quarter reception by Donnie Avery. Only this time, safety...

Redskins Will Go Long -- if That's Smart Move

Top wide receiver Santana Moss had two receptions for six yards during Week 1 against the New York Giants. No. 2 wideout Malcom Kelly had one reception for six yards in his first career start. Obviously, the Redskins want more production from their starting receivers, and I expect Coach Jim Zorn to attack the St. Louis Rams with deep passes. Zorn would never admit it, but I just...

He says Monday he updated his Twitter and Facebook accounts to apologize "not because I'm scared, but just because it was the right thing to do." The Redskins then drove 84 yards before Jason Campbell's pass on third-and-goal from the 3 was knocked down in the end zone. Shaun Suisham kicked a 21-yard field goal. Tight end Chris Cooley caught four passes for 40 yards, and Clinton Portis had four carries for 26 yards on the drive. The Rams caught...

Redskins Moving Forward

Yes, it's been quite a while since I wrote anything, I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that while I've been busy, I haven't stopped following football, and the Washington Redskins in particular. Like many Skins' fans, I was not particularly impressed with the performance with which the team opened the season. I do however believe there are...

Redskins face 'must-Must-MUST-win' game against Lions
