Rex got his team to the big dance. The Bears had running back problems and fumbles. Willie Gualt was not playing wide-out. That Divisison is tough. All the bad things were not his fault. He had some good games too. Cutler made mistakes in Denver also. I don't see a ring on his finger. Rex being a back-up is not bad. He has been through the fire in Chicago. He has NFL experience. That helps a team if the starter goes down. Houston is closing the gap on NFL teams.

by Josh AlperFiled under: Texans, AFC South, NFL Free AgencyHouston, we have a Sex Cannon! It looks like free agent quarterback Rex Grossman finally found a home for the 2009 season on Thursday. The Houston Chronicle and Drew Rosenhaus' Twitter page are reporting that the former Bears signal caller will sign a one-year, $620,000 contract pending a physical on Friday. The team hasn't made any comment, citing a policy of not commenting until a deal has been officially signed. If Grossman indeed joins the Texans, it would be a surprising change of direction for the Texans.Report: Rex Grossman Lands in Houston originally appeared on Fanhouse NFL Blog on Thu, 11 Jun 2009 18:55:00 EDT .
