1. Jerricho Cotchery, Lito Sheppard, Brad Smith, and Damien Woody remained out of practice today. I wouldn’t expect Smith or Sheppard to go on Sunday, while Cotchery remains questionable and Woody is expected to start. Donald Strickland is finally expected to return after missing the past 4 games to the nickel role on defense.

New York Jets safety James Ihedigbo and linebacker Marques Murrell were each fined $5,000 by the NFL for their roles in a scuffle with Buffalo's Derek Fine.
Jets spokesman Bruce Speight confirmed the fine Wednesday, and said coach Rex Ryan plans to make both players inactive and not travel for New York's game at Oakland on Sunday.

The Jets ruled Jerricho Cotchery out for Sunday's game against Oakland as the wide receiver will stay back to rehab his hamstring injury. Head coach Rex Ryan said Cotchery and wide receiver Brad Smith (quad) will not be making the trip to the west coast.
