  San Diego cannot win if Rivers is throwing INTs, the turnovers are killing them. Wonder if Rivers was yelling at the crowed as he ran back to the locker room before the half ended. Volek in the second half?

  The Chargers are BATTLING! Gates is playing hurt. Rivers is giving it everything he has but he's far from at full strength. Tomlinson hasn't been able to go. And they are only down by 5 at the half. They have nothing to be ashamed of at all. It might be too much to ask to beat New England. It's hard enough when you are at full strength. But I'm proud of them.

    well, they need to put the backup in there. rivers will cough the ball up again and it's lights out.

  They are battling, which is why it's best for the team to bench Rivers, who is clearly struggling, for Volek. He is at least healthy and has proven to be a more than servicable back up in the past. http://fantasysportsexperience.blogspot.com/2008/01/colts-get-voleked-reality-imitates-2004.html

  Congrats to the Patriots for taking care of business. It would have been nice to have L.T. on offense but there's always next year. Now we're going to see the Giants lose, which will be a small consolation for me.

  Interesting Eli vs Rivers dynamic here also, as they were traded for each other. Looks like the Giants got the better end of the deal b/c he won and doesn't shoot this mouth off.
