San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers needed surgery to get his right knee through the AFC championship game, and now needs a more extensive operation to repair a torn ligament in the same knee. His rehab could last six months. Star running back LaDainian Tomlinson has a sprained ligament in his left knee but won't need surgery.

Let's just say everyone in Patriot Nation's pulses will start racing when they read more about Brady and this walking cast. People may even start throwing up spontaneously. I think I had a stroke when I saw the report. We need to know more. We should be sending doctors to Gisele's apartment. Patriots fans should be ready to donate spare ligaments.

According to this article, Philip Rivers undwent minor surgery before the AFC Title game yesterday. Going into the off-season, Rivers will need to undergo more major surgery which could require up to 6 months of rehab. The surgery will be conducted on Rivers' right ACL.

Even if the San Diego Chargers lose to the Pats this evening, they have really proven something to the world. Everyone doubted them since they beat the Colts and said they had no chance whatsoever, especially with injuries to LT, Gates, and Rivers. The NFL just got their wish for a Super Bowl that will surely draw record viewers and equal media attention worldwide. It is almost unbelievable how perfectly this worked out for the league…2 teams from major media markets, the New England Patriots going for an undefeated season and immortality, the New York Giants coming in winning 3 games on the road and looking for another upset.

With all the speculation surrounding what receiver the Eagles could possibly acquire in the offseason, one name that hasn't been mentioned is Donté Stallworth. Stallworth is due a monstrous bonus in February, one the Patriots likely won't pay because they will have to spend money to keep Randy Moss.
