According to Fox Sports, the deal that would have sent Dewayne Robertson to the Cincinnati Bengals for two draft picks has been scuttled, presumably because the Bengals could not agree on a contract extension with the defensive tackle.

The Jets have agreed to trade DeWayne Robertson to the Bengals for a 4th and 5th round pick. Considering this is close to the value far superior tackles such as Kris Jenkins and Marcus Stroud went for, the Jets are making out like bandits here. Did I mention Robertson makes 9 mil a year and the Jets wont be picking any of that up? This helps to make up for the picks the Jets gave...

The New York Daily News reported today that Herm Edwards was one of the first coaches to catch Bill Belichick and the spygate scandal. When Herm Edwards was the head coach for the Jets four years ago he waved at the Patriots camera during a game.
