Rocky visits Philly

Not that Rocky... Rocky Boiman

The Eagles are hosting linebacker Rocky Boiman on a free agent visit today. He will speak with the media at 4 p.m. at the Nova Care Complex.

Boiman (6-4, 236 pounds) has played six seasons in the NFL, the last two with the Colts. He spent his first four season with the Tennessee Titans.

Yeah just heard a it on Eagles live a few minutes ago, not the BIG news I was looking for but, if he will help bolster the LB corps I'm all for it.

NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thank YOU!!!!

Hey, Gunna I heard on eagles live Dave S. sayin rocky is a (great) special teams playa so maybe that is his main role!? Dont know about this guy...so we will see....

Maybe he could help form a nice wedge during the return game. That's was one thing that got on my nerves last year those fatboys on special teams couldnt form a wedge to save their lives.

This would be a great addition, but if they need a LB why the hell not keep Spikes? It can"t be money

Reid wasn't about to pay a backup LB $5 mill...

boiman would be a lot cheaper...so yes, it can be (and IS) the money

gotta be dtrik you are right

He looks more Aggresive and more promising than an aging TKO...... my opinion an i think he will contribute more with this team especially with a stout defense hey maybe after the yr he can resign with us depending on his skills and how he produces and helps us....

But he will be more of an impact than TKO... no offense i like him but there has to be a reason why....

they just signed him to a one year deal dont know much about him but maybe he can help.

wtf! ok defense is done until the draft. no more defense please. we need to concentrate on scoring our points on offense. love that they're trying to bring back gang green but please lets move towards the offensive side of the ball. next thing you know we're going to draft a qb in the first round. oops already did that.

Look at it more as a special teams move...much needed. This guys a beast on kick coverage.

good we need that thanks dtrik

yah we drafted a qb in the second round..... please tell me how we are gunna adress the offense in this offseason... the eagles have done all that we asked.... we asked them to get asante and get a big name wr.... the went out and bought asante and they attacked randy moss and the cardinals for larry fitzgerald..... there isnt anything out there.... and there is nothing in the draft worth a first round pick, Eagles fans just need to calm down and take a good long look at the situation, if anything i think offensive line and runningback are gunna be the big aqusitions this upcoming free agency period still in motion and the draft, get kevin jones in FA, or draft Jonathan Stewart in the 1st round, and then forsure grab Gosder Cherilus in the second round. If Chad or Roy or Boldin became on option that was available, then sure go for it, but chances are thats not gunna happen, and if it does we would really have to break the bank, common guys we are talkin about trading one of our poster boys, Lito Sheppard, after all hez done u wanna throw him away??

alot of these guys they are brining in are short term, notice that-well except for samuels. interesting, kicken J, thanks so much for the info!!

yeah i did clemons got what 5
