Harrison
by Michael David SmithFiled under: Patriots, NFL Media WatchWhen Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison were introduced as the newest members of NBC's NFL commentating team, I figured that NBC was trying a "good cop/bad cop" routine.Dungy could appear on Football Night in America to offer his analysis from his perspective as the consummate nice guy, while Harrison could play the heel, ripping everyone and everything. In one of Harrison's first interviews since getting the NBC job, he strongly indicated that the bad cop will, indeed, be his role.Rodney Harrison: NFL 'Is Turning Into a Soft, Pansy Sport' originally appeared on Fanhouse NFL Blog on Mon, 08 Jun 2009 10:59:00 EDT . • I don't care if Rodney Harrison was a cheap shot artist, HE'S RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! When you've got Defensive linemen being penalized for hitting the quarterback "late" when the QB had possession at the time the defender left his feet to hit the QB WITH HIS SHOULDER something has gone ridiculously wrong with the sport. The QB's, RB's, and WR's are the highest payed players in the league and one of the reasons for that is that their positions by nature tend to attract bigger hits, if you can't hack it play golf!
  • Yea it is
