Harrison
In the immediate wake of his career-ending injury and amid speculation that he’ll join NBC’s NFL broadcast team, it seems like Rodney Harrison would have no need to manufacture a presence in the headlines. You’d think, anyway.

blame your boy brady for that new rule, if his leg didnt have an attached vagina it'd be one degree less of a pansy sport

He`s right in many respects. How many different rules have been put in to protect the QB, the receivers and yes the D-line? It`s getting so that the QB`s, traditionally the highest paid players in the NFL, can darn near stand around and wait for a WR to get open, without fear of being hit. If a D-man does hit a QB, it`ll be pretty much in the strike zone, or yellow flags will fly. At this rate it won`t be long before Goodell & Co., will be requiring those who do successfully sack a QB, to offer a gentlemanly apology and assist the passer to his feet, and brush the dirt from his uniform. After that, he may have to offer the QB, a curtsy.

Jack Tatum probably thought the same thing about Harrison's generation of the NFL. The QBs are too protected. I hate the stupid slide rule. Most of the rules are subjective anyway. I just hope the NFL doesn't turn into the NBA.
