Lofa Tatupu is the latest Seahawks star to go on the injured reserve list.
A team spokesman said Seattle's three-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker is having surgery Thursday afternoon in Alabama to repair a torn left pectoral muscle.
The defensive captain was injured in the first half of Seattle's loss to Arizona on Oct. 18 while trying to make a tackle.
Wednesday, six-time All-Pro left tackle Walter Jones went on injured reserve because of a surgically repaired left knee.
