The Seattle Seahawks released the aging RB Shaun Alexander. Not that I could run in the NFL, let alone be a RB, but there will forever be ill thoughts in regards to Alexander. Since he won the MVP two years ago and hooked up a $62 million contract, the back ran soft, flopped in holes and failed to find the end zone.

Some blame the loss of Steve Hutchinson, others point out that he has has nagging injuries. Whatever the reason he's not the back he was and now he's unemployed.
