Why The Giants Should Trade Jeremy Shockey
Some players are so important to their teams, that even if they cause the occasional headache or distraction, they are too valuable to get rid of. Jeremy Shockey isn't one of those players.
Saints No Longer Interested in Jeremy Shockey
The New Orleans Saints are no longer interested in New York Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey, according to Rotoworld. The club will once again go with Eric Johnson.

Pro Bowl and Return of the Redskins
The Pro Bowl elects were announced and the New York Giants will be sending a record six players to the all-star game. This comes as no surprise with the talent we have seen on this team this year. Also, what's this about Boss putting on 20 lbs since the superbowl? DO WORK!
It hurt me to see Charles Oakley playing somewhere other than NY. I think I was scarred and now I have a pesimistic view on players being able to stick with one team.
Recieving: He's a big target and a very solid recieving TE. He didn't get the ball much because he was actually 3rd on the depth chart. The 2nd string TE got injured before Shockey and it takes some time to become a target. Boss stepped up and made huge plays in crunch time as a rookie and the team had confidence in him. As he adds experience I don't see why that would change. Also, with or without Shockey there won't be too much pressure on Boss. We have legit weapons in Plax, Toomer (he's not too old for this ish!), Steve Smith and the younger guys.
Blocking: The concern is that Shockey is a better run blocker. Our ground game isn't big on the list of concerns, though. Also, Boss is getting praised by everyone in the organization for his hard work and improvement.
