He should be grateful; he can jump on board with the NFL Network just in time for this Saturday's draft. Better than trying to sell himself as a third-down back who can't catch and has bad feet. There can only be so many Michael Pittmans in the league.

The Seattle Seahawks released the aging RB Shaun Alexander. Not that I could run in the NFL, let alone be a RB, but there will forever be ill thoughts in regards to Alexander. Since he won the MVP two years ago and hooked up a $62 million contract, the back ran soft, flopped in holes and failed to find the end zone.

The Seahawks have finally done it, the have cut Shaun Alexander. The former MVP got a big money contract, turned 30 and his production dropped significantly. Some blame the loss of Steve Hutchinson, others point out that he has has nagging injuries. Whatever the reason he's not the back he was and now he's unemployed. Alexander was scheduled to earn $4,475,000 in 2008...

Another day and another NFL player gets arrested. This time it was Seahawks defensive tackle Rocky Bernard who was arrested early Monday and accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend outside a downtown Seattle club. According to a witness Bernard punched the woman, the mother of his child, with a closed fist in the forehead.
