So is the McNabb trade back on?

Now that Air McNair has retired, what is Baltimore to do at QB? Do they draft a QB that will be too young to lead an already aging team?

Or do they talk philly into giving up #5 for the #8 pick? I don't want to see 5 traded, I think he has enough left in the tank to get it done here.

well only time will tell...

Mcnair most likely wouldnt have started anyway, with the ravens already planning on drafting one anyway. where have you been?

Yeah Please nothing about McNabb being traded anywhere, the Ravens will most likely draft Matt Ryan or Brian Brohm whcih ever falls in their laps with the 8th overall pick.

Mcnabb isn't going anywhere. He won't go anywhere until he retires. That man will always be in midnight green and will retire in it as well. Trust me when I say that. It's a bold statement but believe it. This is coming from an eagles fan who is constantly on the fence with #5.

dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

okay i hear ya, but whats up with the, Come out of the closet and let you dogs rear heal??? i am just sick of hearing the mcnabb trade rumors, we need this guy he isnt going anywhere

I'm down if the Ravens are down.

It amuses me that all these Eagles fans will be on D-Mac's back the second he loses a game. I'm not even a Philly Phan and I've supported the guy throughout his career.

the ravens dont have nething to even try and offer for mcnabb...eagles wouldnt do it anyway no point in gettin rid of him hes still among the top qbs in the game

I thought to myself who could post something so stupid? Then I looked at who posted it and it made sense. 5 will be a Bird til he decides its time to move on. As long as Andy is here, Don will be here. Besides, the Ravens don't have a "#1 WR" so Eagle fans would cry if we gave him away and didnt get us one of those!

If Mcnabb was on dancing with the stars and all over the news for other things not football related then I would do this trade in a second. That being said Donny Mac number 1, is adding trainers left and right, number 2 staying focused on this yrs goal(superbowl), and number 3, most importantly he is staying out of the BS with every WR the Eagles are rumored to be getting... Donny Mac will be an Eagle for as long as Big Red is in Phila, and i dont see big Red leaving town anytime soon... TAMPA BABY!!

DTRIK19? whats up with that comment? It was merely a question. I'm all for 5 being an Eagles for life. Just a question man. No one heard the rumor that Balt was going to give the #8 pick for McNabb? Was just curious of the possibility. Actually as much as I would love to see 5 here, you'd be crazy to not give him up for #8 pick. He would trade himself for the #8 pick. One could make an arguement to make that kind of deal. He has more years behind him then he does in front. He's had too many injuries. Not that they are his fault but it is what it is. We drafted Kolb as the heir apparent, so if Andy guessed right there we'll be set. Use the 8th pick on a stud and rebuild a bit.
Kepp in mind I still support 5

It may have just been a question, but any Eagles fan KNOWS the answer to it.

Haven't heard the rumor, probably because there is no way the Ravens would give up their pick for McNabb. Maybe five years ago, but if McNabb were to be traded, I would expect a 2nd round pick at best. That doesn't mean that he won't have a good season, but with his age and injury history, he just isn't worth a 1st round pick, let alone a top ten one.

No he wasn't mentioned in the article but there were rumors of a possible trade months ago. Come out of the closet and let you dogs rear heal. There were rumors. I'm not saying I want him to go. I hope 5 stays here for a long time. I was just wondering if the rumors were going to start up again.
Hence the "?"

Donovan isnt going anywhere, they need him. He's a great quarterback regardless of whatever anyone says or thinks. And if Donovan does go, then they will be loosing sum fans. Once Donovan is gone, I'm through with this team.
