Found September 13, 2007 on ExtremeRavens:
So, how many times did you hear "If I would have had a shoe, I'd have thrown it through the television" on Tuesday, after the Ravens' debacle on Monday night? The only thing we can do from here on out, with the uncertain injury statuses of Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, and Steve McNair--not to mention B.J. Sams, who is now out for the season-- is rally behind their replacements, no matter who they are. There are times when we often like to make Kyle Boller the proverbial punching bag (including yours truly), but I will always maintain that Boller is the best backup quarterback in the NFL. He once again he proved it on Monday night, when he had us in a position to tie the game late in the fourth quarter. I can guarantee you that we will not see another game in the 2007-2008 season where the Ravens will turn the ball over six times. Now on to this week's picks: Read more: http://extremeravens.com/columnists/john_biasucci/sooch%27s_corner%3a_week_2_200...

Ravens Owner Very Proud Of Contract Ray Lewis Is Getting

According to owner Steve Bisciotti, the Ravens offered Ray Lewis a contract "higher than most 33-year-olds ever see" at the end of the season. Lewis...

Missing - Baltimore Ravens Bloggers

After the Ravens began to plummet midway through the season, you stopped hearing about Ray Lewis' messages of brotherhood through struggle, Scott's predictions on the NBA season, and Clayton's visits to local high schools. Each of the players last posted in early November, and haven't been heard from since.

OVECHKIN BECOMING HOCKEY'S T.O.

Watching Alexander Ovechkin celebrate his 50th goal last night by dropping his stick and pretending it was on fire (then pretending to warm his hands), I must give him credit. He is becoming Pittsburgh's anti-hero in a way few others not named Ray Lewis ever have. And this wasn't even in a game against the Penguins. Some people think his antics are good for hockey. I suppose...

Kyle Boller's "Journal"

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the NFL Players' Association website has a special section where their members can keep online journals, or blogs as the Internets commonly refer to them. Imagine the bigger surprise when I found our favorite quarterback Kyle Boller has been getting his diary on for quite a while now.

Rick Neuheisel Would Like To Disuade You From Filling Out An NCAA Bracket

Rick Neuheisel knows a thing or two about NCAA tournament pools and the UCLA coach is offering a public warning: don't succumb to the seduction of the bracket.Neuheisel went on the Dan Patrick show to discuss the ethics of filling out the bracket, the mere mention of which fills Neusheisel's wife with the strength of Ray Lewis -- the murderous Ray Lewis, not the aging one...

Ray Lewis Asks, Why So Serious?

Ray Lewis is extremely fortunate that the press conference announcing his new deal with the Baltimore Ravens came in the midst of a Maryland Terrapins tournament victory, because there’s no way he would emerge today as an unscathed hero from his off-season of whining and jiving. “The bottom line: Was there ever a decision for me [...]

Willis McGahee Named to Pro Bowl

One of the best reasons to watch the Baltimore Ravens this year has been rewarded for his solid play. Tailback Willis McGahee, who was a second alternate to the AFC Pro Bowl team, has replaced the injured LaDanian Tomlinson on the squad. He joins Jonathan Ogden, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis as the Ravens ma...

32 teams in 32 days: San Francisco

We continue our team-by-team look at the NFL with the 49ers. The team everyone thought would break out in 2007 ended up breaking down, but that doesn’t mean the cupboard is bare. If a few things go right (and Patrick Willis continues his morph into Ray Lewis), there might even be some celeb...

Redskins 13, Ravens 7

Mother Nature tried to put a stop to the NFL pre-season game between the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens all night long; and in the end, she was successful. National Football League officials called the game off with 11:38 to go in the third quarter as thunder and lightning persisted at Fed Ex Field. The Redskins were ahead by a score of 13-7 at the time. The only...
