Staley is expected to miss six weeks with sprains to ligaments in his right knee. Staley sustained injuries to his medial-collateral and posterior-cruciate ligaments on the first play of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The 49ers have lost their starting offensive tackles in back-to-back games. Right tackle Tony Pashos sustained a broken shoulder blade last week against the Houston Texans and is out for the season.
Clements is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks with a broken shoulder blade. He sustained the injury while returning a second-quarter punt Sunday against the Colts.
The 49ers play the Arizona Cardinals six weeks from today in a game that could be pivotal in the NFC West race.
And defensive lineman Demetric Evans is expected to miss three weeks with a shoulder sprain.
