I heard the same things from everyone I talked to. After a 31-12 disaster in Tennessee on Sunday, it appears that we can look forward to a top 10 pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Why?
- We have a QB who appears rattled and a little scared in the pocket
- The coach seems to call safe plays in critical situations to protect the QB
- The defensive backs are getting beat by the backup's backups at WR
- Despite the big run by Slaton, the running game was miserable again.
- We can't find the endzone in the red zone.
- We are incapable of executing in short yardage situations
Doesn't this remind you of Domanick Davis Williams and David Carr? When is Tony Boselli going to be healthy? The coaching staff and front office should both be on a short leash for the lack of team development this off-season.

With the Texans offense struggling after two games, a change at the top position on the team may be coming according to today's Houston Chronicle. The paper is reporting that if head coach Gary Kubiak takes a long look at the outing of QB Matt Schaub the first two weeks like the rest of the team, the change will be made to Sage Rosenfels for the teams week three game at Jacksonville...

The Texans head to Nashville to take on the titans today and if there was ever a game to make a statement with, this would be it.
The Texans left Pittsburgh two weeks ago beat up. I'm pretty sure the pounding the Steelers administered on the Texans offense is illegal in several states. But the Texans might have caught a break with Hurricane Ike cancelling their week 2 game...

For the first time, the LPGA has compiled a ranking of "The 50 Best Teachers." These are golf instructors LPGA Teaching and Club Professional division, and the rankings were compiled by surveying the more than 1,200 members of the T&CP.

Lance Zierlein from his Chronicle blog: Agree with Lance on most of his points, especially with respect to the failure to challenge the out-of-bounds catch (not to mention the proceeding TD run by LenDale White), #80 going through the motions, Schaub's lack of poise in the pocket (which expounds significantly in the red zone, where handling a snap becomes a freaking adventure...
