Yesterday, Falcons QB Mike Vick was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of running an illegal dog fighting ring. So much for the "experts" saying that there was a very slim chance that the hammer would be brought down on him. Among the other things he's done such as giving herpes out and flipping off fans, this by far will be the most damaging to the once-dubbed...

Michael Vick, in what may come as a suprise to many around the NFL, was indicted today on conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce" and "to sponsor a dog in animal fighting venture. This should be interesting to see how it plays out for the Falcons, and Vick, and also how the commissioner handles this situation.

Lord help Michael Vick.
Lord help him if the charges that are brought against him are true -- that he presided over and encouraged the mutilation and killing of dogs trained to fight on the grounds of his mansion. Lord help him if he's innocent -- that despite all the evidence to the contrary, he is either a clueless pawn or a framed sap.

Though I DO believe that we all should be considered innocent until proven guilty, I am NOT a court of law. Therefore I am not, and should not be, held to the same set of standards. I am a human being, living in a country where people are dying to give me the right to speak my mind.
It is for this reason I am sick of people telling me, and others, to NOT judge Mike Vick until...

I'm not going to bash Arthur Blank. I do understand that he must have a tremendous amount of pressure to deal with right now. At least he finally released a statement. Unfortunately, it didn't tell us anything that we didn't already know...

After reading every possible story today about the Mike vick incitement there must be 10+ stories with the same thing in them. people should learn to look at the section before posting such stories that have already been posted on the site.
Its great that people are contributing but would be even better if you wouldn't have to wade through all the same stories.

Ok, so maybe not the "dumbest rich man ever", but pretty damn close!! Mike Vick is one of the highest paid players in the league, yet he's stupid enough to partake in dogfighting. All the while, he has the audacity to deny involvement. We're not stupid Mike!! Do you think people aren't going to recognize you at these events?! I know this topic has saturated...

Currently the NFL has been under new management and we have seen commissioner Roger Goodell lay down the hammer on Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson and Chris Henry. But this Vick situation is an another realm of importance. First off let me just say that has a dog lover I was sick to my stomach when I heard about Vick's accusations. What kind of person does this? What kind of morals...

Vick pr man Len Pasquarelli, I mean ESPN writer, citing the ever popular unnamed sources close to the situation, said Vick called Falcons owner Arthur Blank and apologized for the distractions the case has created, and thanked Blank for his support, Vick, the source said, was also was "devastated" by the indictment. Too bad he wasn't "devastated" after killing...
