The loss to the St. Louis Rams crushed all hope the Lions were improving. They fooled us for a few games, but in losses to the Packers, and especially the Rams, the play on the field looked all too familiar to what we witnessed in the season of infinite and immense pain, 2008.
So there were plenty of nominees for Facepalms, but there were those who stood out with distinction! Those are who we honor today.
Ig Nobel Facepalm - Dennis Northcutt and Bryant Johnson: The Ig Nobel is awarded to those first make people laugh, and then make them cry.
