I'm still trying to stay involved around the game, obviously. You just can't turn it off after playing for 12 years, you know? You have to ease out gradually. I still go back to all the games, doing my radio show up in Baltimore, trying to stay involved, doing OPEN Sports and just trying to look at the game from a fan's perspective. I've been a fan of pro football since I was 10...

Thought the wait in the draft was a long one for Brady Quinn? Tack on almost 20 NFL games into your career before you get a shot. It's not a done deal, but it appears that if Derek Anderson keeps?well?not doing much of anything, the Browns may make the move to Quinn. Starting this week in practice by giving him more reps.

Well the Tribe is giving thier fans a break today, after the twin disasters in Tampa on Tuesday and Wednesday. There's no game tonight. Thank God! Even better, there's a Browns' preseason game to view - something to take our minds further away from the Tribe. What can you say about the last two games?. On Thursday, we discussed a possible scenario that may result in the benching of Derek Anderson (in favor of Brady Quinn) against the Ravens. After holding a halftime lead, the Browns sputtered thanks to three interceptions thrown by Anderson, including a pick six by Ed Reed. While the KC Chiefs are further from ever from being competitive, they appear to be on the verge of trying to find themselves a QB for the future. Jay Glazer of FOX reported earlier Sunday that the Chiefs called the Cleveland Browns about last years first-round draft pick - QB Brady Quinn, and if he may be available for a trade.
