I went around to five major mainstream media sports websites, and compiled their NFL week 8 power rankings to create the ultimate power rankings. This list will be updated weekly, and anytime there is a change to these sites' rankings. Visit the URL to read the full rankings. I didn't rank these teams, it's a consensus of the media. So take issue with them.

    Some stats:

    Most decisive - Tennessee Titans, New York Giants: everyone gave them #1 and #2, respectively
    Least decisive - San Diego Chargers: difference of 13 (ranked as high as #11 and as low as #24)

    Some "analysis":

    Overrated - San Diego Chargers: How is it fair at all that a 3-5 team with an awful defense is in front of winning teams like Atlanta or Baltimore?
    Underrated - Miami Dolphins: I realize they are 3-4, but that's not stopping other sub-par teams like Indy ahead of them. They have three wins over quality opponents, including the Bills this weekend, and two of their losses were in the first two weeks when Chad Pennington was still settling into the offense.

    Who do you think is over/underrated?

      Dolfins is underrated...Im just pissed Ernest Wilford aint playing, he really would help out in the passing game....Sparanos making a big mistake.....Ginn Jr, and Camarillo arent going to scare any team that has a good secondary.....that being said Chad Pennington is being Efficient Chad as I predicted and the Defense is nice.....

      I completely agree with you. LT is not the same back as he has been for the past few years. They stil do not have a #1 WR on that offense, and they CLEARLY miss sean merriman. They shouldnt be any higher than 15.

      Hey I didn't rank 'em. The Eagles did beat the Steelers, so you have a legit gripe there. Though things might change if the Steelers lose again this week on the road in Washington (though that would probably hurt you guys in real life).
