Well the big guy is still big, but there are some other signs that Andy is becoming a changed man. Benchings throughout the season have shown that Reid is finally learning that he is not perfect. He is seeing his errors and finally correcting them. Just look. Winston Justice a 2nd round pick ...

Some of the benchings were good idea's but Reid still refuses to admit to it when he sees they are mistakes. When he benched McNabb and Kolb came out playing even worse then McNabb, Reid should have put McNabb back in, but he's too stubborn.
As far as running the ball, I understand the idiot FINALLY handed the play calling over to Marty (not even going to try to spell his last name).
Reid has been head coach for 10 years now, why did it take him this long to make such small adjustments???

that was good benching!!! it was non division and non conference game!!! it made him come back as a better QB also!!!

I think it was a good benching too, but if you kinda knew it was coming, why not get Kolb ready to play. It was obvious that he did not do this. Not to mention coaching goes beyond benching someone. I'll take an AR phrase....I have to put players in position to make plays, but he calls a pass play on 2nd and goal from the 1/2 yd line. It's just time for a change.

You're right McNabb came back a little better, but maybe if Reid would have given in a little sooner and put DMac back in that game, we may have won.
It's all maybes and possibilities, but Reid is too stubborn to see anything different then he has planned.

they way Mc Nugget was playing that day ??? no chance!!!

Every example is why he should go. A change and breath of fresh air will weed out the dead meat quicker than AR will. Too many early miss pick's, dedication to those and an inability to cut your losses early rather than late. He's afraid to admit to failure instead he creates failure. I think it would be best for both parties if he left. This years draft will be to fill holes and not for developing players...I think Desean Jackson taught them a lesson here.

his problem is too many jobs!!! either be a coach or a GM!!! but i don't see that happening!!!

I would love him to stay as a GM, but want him gone as a head coach. He sux!!!!
  • jaydlawii
he ran the ball for 1 game
Browns numbers from previous years are a little skewed as McNabb was not to one throwing most of those passes to him. perhaps McNabb and him have an issue? the fact that he was benched says the Reid is desperate enough to do anything, not that he learned from a mistake. I believe we can make it to the playoffs, but i that is despite reid not because of him.

That is EXACTLY what I said to the blogger andyreid. If we make it, it will be in spite of him, not because of him. Reid is an idiot and has to go!!!!!!

he should stay coach and just gameplan after that let the coordinators do their job!!! get a good GM and take away his final say in personell!!! it's the players he choses that messes him up!!! overevaluation of them!!!

Lets just get a couple of things straight, Reid did nothing, his moves were out of desperation not genius. The last two games #5 has played well because the right plays and gameplan were dialed up, both of which had been handed over to the coordinators and away from Reid.

The guy cannot call plays anymore period. A new change and a fresh face I still believe are what gets this team to the top.....meaning the Lombardi Trophy coming to Philly.

im happy with the way the eagles have been winning lately... the win against the giants was a good one, but i hope it doesnt get to the teams head, mcnuggets head and andys head, if it makes it through his 5 chins... and they go back to playing like the did all year... hoping for a Giant collapse, and the cowgirls self distructing, we could still make the playoffs....
