Found December 11, 2008 on Bleed Eagles Green:
Well at least we know the Big Kid is back from California. We also know that his Mohawk is now red. Besides that there really isn't much else that we do know about Shawn Andrews.

Is the back injury getting any better? Does he have a shot at playing again this season? Outside of the Eagles ...

The New Andy Reid...Maybe

Well the big guy is still big, but there are some other signs that Andy is becoming a changed man. Benchings throughout the season have shown that Reid is finally learning that he is not perfect. He is seeing his errors and finally correcting them.Just look. Winston Justice a 2nd round pick ...

Hey Eagles, Could We Get That $8 Million?

Sure the two issues are completely unrelated besides the number involved in both situations but it would be kind of the Eagles to finally pay what they owe.

End of an Era Coming Soon in Philly?

I expect to be a small voice in a very loud room. With every loss, the room becomes louder then before and to everyone else, I appear even more blinded by the hype machine that is the Philadelphia Eagles.I hear the local media DAILY tear this man apart. Almost as if it has become a [...]

Eagles' Hanson making Sheppard disappear

IF YOU HAD trouble spotting Lito Sheppard on the field Sunday during the Eagles' 20-14 win over the Giants, there's nothing wrong with your eyesight. Except for a few special-teams appearances, he didn't play. Wasn't on the field for any of his team's 51 defensive snaps. No doubt, there are more than a few conspiracy theorists out there who believe Sheppard's benching was orchestrated...

Playoffs? Sure, Why Not?

One of the underlying themes to the resurgent Eagles season is a portion of fans, hopefully a small group, are actively rooting against the club.  Some just want Reid or McNabb out, others think it's time to begin a complete roster overhaul.  Whatever the reasons, think about that for a second.  Eagles fans still pulling for losses in the middle of a suddenly very real playoff run.

Reid Speak

Oh, how I love Andy Reid press conferences: The monotone delivery, the robotic stare, the textbook answers. What would we do without Big Red giving us fans or the evil media something tasty to chew on? Daily News writer Les Bowen wrote a great article yesterday about Reid's stubborn refusal to admit that the Eagles' [...]

The Healthy McNabb

Some love him, while others hate him. Some want him gone, while others can't imagine the Eagles winning without him. It's hard to think of a player that brings out such mixed, extreme emotions as McNabb.Regardless of your feelings for #5, the 2008 season has allowed McNabb to prove his ...

Three to go......

OK, Eagle fans it has come down to this. Win the remaining three games against the Browns, Redskins and Cowboys and hope the Falcons lose one of thier final three games and we're in the playoffs. As unbelievable as it seemed two weeks ago this team has a legitimate chance to win out. The Browns are busy looking for a new coach and with the game at Philly on a Monday night I expect...

T.O. Should Be Reggie Brown

Please, enough with the media making every T.O. comment a big headline. The man is an idiot. Was T.O. finally turning on Romo really a big surprise?!?It's always me-first (love me some me), team second with Owens. A kindergartner is more mature than T.O. His act has become a bad circus act, ...

Happy birthday to Ben (redux)

I couldn't find this picture the other day, but what once was lost now is found. So it's happy birthday to Ben, the sequel. Dirty thirty-one. The picture was taken in D.C. after I went to see the Louis C.K. show at the Warner Theatre, the Friday night before we destroyed the Eagles. Below is a photo from M&T right before the start of the Eagles game. Good seats. Thanks to Big...

The Browns Will Win If…

Admit it. You missed this. You missed us making fun of the Browns, and somehow some way trying to talk ourselves into courses of action that might produce a Browns win. You sure wish you could quit this. But you can't. After all, you're Cleveland fans! The Eagles have been hot and cold this year, ...

By Josh Satler www.profootball101.orgMust Starts:1. Brian Westbrook vs. Cleveland Browns. Ever since the Eagles backed themselves into a 5-5-1 hole, Westbrook has taken over and led his team to two victories with 333 total yards and six TDs. In another must-win game for Philadelphia, look for ...

Eagles D Adopts In-Season Playoff Beard

With every game from here to the end of the season pretty much being a playoff life-and-death situation, the Eagles defense has taken a page from the NHL tradition of growing playoff beards. Speaking with Comcast SportsNet, Quintin Mikell said that Brian Dawkins came up with the idea of growing ...
