PLAYERS: Byron Leftwich,  Charlie Batch,  Dennis Dixon,  Brian Griese,  Josh Johnson,  Kellen Winslow,  Antonio Bryant,  Michael Clayton,  Dennis Dixon
Byron Leftwich signed with the Bucs today. You can't blame the guy; in Pittsburgh he was a guaranteed 2nd or 3rd stringer and in Tampa Bay he has a chance to become their starter. If Byron can beat out Luke McCown, Brian Griese, and Josh Johnson he will win the starting job and will have Kellen Winslow, Antonio Bryant, Michael Clayton, and others at his disposal.     Yes but he hasn't been the same Roethlisberger that we all knew and love years ago. I still love him, but it's a little nerve racking at times. At least with Leftwich at backup, you knew you didn't have to worry.

    I strongly disagree,there a lot of descent backup quarterback and who knows you could save a little money to boot.

    I think it's not that important and it will not affect the Steelers or ruin their season.

    they probably got worse but saved money. We'll see who there back up will be.
