Hard as it is to believe, the Giants’ defense could soon be at full strength. OK, maybe not full strength, but they could soon be pretty close now that both DT Chris Canty (calf) and LB Michael Boley (knee) are back at practice. Canty said he practiced fully today and Boley said he took about half the snaps. And both players said they felt pretty good when the workout was done. It sounds like Canty is the closest to making a return. He said he “felt really good out there” today and said there were no limitations on what he could do. Boley, though, cautioned that “I can’t sit here and say I’m 100 percent right now. Basically all I can do is take whatever my knee gives me.” He also said he feels no urgency to return. “It’s a real young season,” Boley said. “I’m not going to sit here and say that ‘Oh, I’m rushing to get back’ like it’s Week 15. That’s not the case. The seas...

Welcome Back:

This was one play that C.C. Brown read perfectly. The Giants’ much-maligned safety said he had a feeling Tom Coughlin was pondering a switch in the starting lineup. After looking like the best team in the entire league at the end of Week 5, the New York Giants have come down to earth...and then some.
