So here we are, the final week of preseason. Finally, some closure on a lot of things, be it meaningless exhibition games, finishing off stories for the preview section, or most of all, final roster cuts. Those who don't care or lack a single sentimental bone in their bodies need not read the rest of this. Every now and then, the spirit moves me in a different direction. Don't try to control it, just let it flow. We were supposed to run a Colts bio on defensive back Michael Coe today. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes these little one-on-one, question-and-answer chats are with players who don't make the team. We try to focus on the guys who will, but you just never know. When we received word that Coe had been injured-waived, I called the office to make sure we pulled the bio. Then I looked at it in my computer. And I remembered our chat. You don't do that, usually.
