This time, Kearse works out with Titans

During his first stint with the Titans, defensive end Jevon Kearse spent big parts of his offseasons working out on his own in Florida.

After rejoining the Titans last month, however, Kearse has been working out regularly at Baptist Sports Park with his new teammates in the offseason-conditioning program.

"He spent time back and forth the first go-around,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said about Kearse, who had 47½ sacks with the Titans from 1999-2003. "But I think (now) he realizes he has a chance to really make an impact and to be the 'comeback player' that he wants to be. And to do so he needs to be here. He has been here working out and doing well.''

At the news conference announcing his return to the Titans, Kearse was almost giddy. Fisher said the veteran, who spent the past four seasons with the Eagles, is still beaming.

"He hasn't settled down yet,'' Fisher said. "He is as excited today as he was when he agreed to terms.''

Defensive lineman Jevon Kearse, flanked by General Manager Mike Reinfeldt and Coach Jeff Fisher in early March after rejoining the Titans, has stayed in town to work out with the Titans, unlike in his first stint in Nashville....

ohh so you bck? lol........
yes i'm here for a minute!!! business calls

the man never suceeded here but maybe the titans is where he's best at

true, but it's news and that's what i do ; 0 !!!!

girlie you do what you do and you dig what you do so keep on keepin on

he was injured was he not maybe he will be the freak for this team again maybe not but they seem glad to have him back

yeah he was, sad too-he said some stupid stuff when he left philly as well, but hey, it is what it is right!!

i'm thinkin he has to perform or he's gone.......from the nfl.....it woulda been nice if he had that attitide in Philly

well warlord - it guess time will tell, u never know-he GOT HURT alot of ppl keep missing that fact and all they do is talk ca-ca on the guy........HE got hurt LOL!

I am not to excited about him coming back... Its already time to get a new GM for the Titans... Damn that was quick... I think thats why I turned over to the Chargers 5 or 6 years ago. Because I was tired of Bud... But it is what it is... I will be a fan of D Mcfad's team when it is all said and done... lol

LOL !! oneandonly, i know the feeling all to well

The freak was just ok for us that's all , Even when he didn't get hurt seriously he came off the field like he was so maybe he will be good for someone else but I don't think so, we tend to get rid of people when it's time too. Plus I think that one of our picks will be a DE.

eh cousind, he's back home where he wanted to be, so let's wish him the best :) !!!!!! nice to see ya on the thread!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing how Chris does in the DE spot........The kid looks like he can move, and makes some plays......

i hear that warlord!! always a pleasure to have ya on the thread!!!

Hey girl how U doin? No new Face Pic?????

Every other play, the "freak" was limping off the field as an Eagle. Why the Titans would be glad to have him back is beyond me, he hasnt done ANYTHING in 4+ years. Titans fans, have fun watching "the freak" limping off the field 5-10 times per game depending on how many snaps he actually plays.

jared, guess what, DGAF what u think, this ain't an eagles thread!!!!!

JKearse has always been intriguing to me for some reason...Freak has unique physical NFL build and unconventional skill set, a player who I have wondered for years, and especially now with team change, does the Freak have anything left in tank...downside is upon him I sense...Hi CK...good thread

hey suga nice to see YOU!!!!!!!!

i dunno if he does or not we shall see Mr. O :) !!!!!!!!!!

got to sneak on here for a bit, lol...Kearse could have the juice as who knows if he mentally absent in Philly or all those injuries demoralized him...well, he has his fresh start now...was a player I always watched from afar wishing he landed up here...and I know u didn't want to hear last sentence-LOL!

he "was" mentally absent bad typing

nice babe, very nice & i can't agree with you more ;0 !!!

Anybody ever think he might be back on the TItans so he can help out mentoring a young DE they might draft later in a later round??? Thats probably a very good possibility...

NICE doll!!!!!!!!!!!! very kewl!!!!!!! and yeah i agree

We might be seeing a new freak born from this draft... Maybe Jeff Fisher sees something in somebody that he likes...

And I'm sure glad I'm no TITANS fan....when Jevon Kearse is your " big off season signing" you have serious, serious problems...

Kerse was stealing money... glad he's gone...
He got hurt and then came back wit the frame of samuel dalebert....
Peace Freal!

this ain't about u being glad he's gone , it's a thread about him working out with the titans........now u make sure u have a great day !!!!

I'm glad he's working out with the titans and not the birds.

Apparently you didn't catch his comments a few weeks ago when he said in an interview that being in Philly was like a vacation, and the fans here are too intense, and they are hard on you when you make a bad play.

dude got paid millions to perform and all he did was sit on the sideline and cash checks. After his last injury he came back to the team 40lbs lighter then the average DE.

have a great day

mr. gbar
i'm sorry no i didn't catch what he said a few weeks ago, but i really don't care what he said about philly, philly fans are to intense that's why i stopped bloggin eagles news & shat cuz my threads were getting all chopped up with mean shat towards each other :) !!!!! and thank u for wishing me a great day, cuz it sure was, i hope your tuesday rocked like aerosmith :) !!!!!!

Dog, she doesnt care what you think... Get that through your pea shaped head...
