this is based on this year right? cuz mcnabb is better then rivers and where is brees and sheli ?

wheres Brees? wheres Palmer? Brett Favre is better than Roethlisberger. Rivers is not 7th.

yea this guy is on glue
Tom brady
Peyton Manning
Favre
Big Ben
Brees
Mat Hassleback
D Nabb
Tony Romo
Palmer
Rivers

yeah its based on this year....during the season palmer played like shit and so did Eli

mcnabb sucks every year so how did he make it

McNabb had a good year. I would place Favre at 3 and Rivers at 10. Move Romo up to 4 and you got a list.

you my friend are mentally challenged

a more accurate list that has nothing to do on how the team has played as a whole

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Carson Palmer
Matt Hasslebeck
Tony Romo
Derek Anderson
David Garrard
Brett Favre

Garrad is a OK QB not a great only 4 of these players have rings dude, to be top means you have a ring under you belt ANDERSON BLOWS they didnt even make the playoffs and he had EDwards and Lewis and the main thing he had time in the pocket QUinn will be the QB in Clevland next year ROMO are you fucking kidding this guy is a homo and hasnt won a playoff game in his career fuck you list look at mine

Next two

Marc Bulger
Eli Manning (On a good day)

Just missing the cut...

Jay Cutler
Philip Rivers (the way he has played in the playoffs)
Donovan Mcnabb (had a good statistical year)

Are you kidding? You put all those guys ahead of Roethlisberger?

ben roethlisberger is not very good, sorry to tell you

He has a super bowl ring, unlike numbers 3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11, and 12 on your list.

damn....you don't know shit about football, dude.

no mcnabb is on there.. if its based on this year and how much the media talked about them, mcnabb wouldnt be on there. but mcnabb should be on there statistically

willardj i think your mentally challeneged you named 8 qb's it says top ten on the article

try using your fingers to count, it helps

How does Derek Anderson make this list. A partial season should pull him right out of the running. McNabb maybe was number ten this year, Detroit game skewed his statistics. The final quarter of the season pulls Romo out of Top 4 maybe 5 contention. I'd have to say Farve played much better than Peyton this year. I think he's a shoo in for #2. Big Ben is top ten but he has to be behind Garrard, in fact Garrard is top 5.

How can you call starting 15 games and playing 2 quarters of the other game a partial season? He made the list because he had a better statistical year than every quarterback not named brady or peyton.

Overall that's not a bad list. You can quibble with a few of the rankings, but I think you hit the nail on the head.

How about Drew Brees? I'm sorry if you're a Browns fan. Derek Anderson was a flash in the pan. Philip Rivers doesn't deserve to be on the top 10. Maybe top 15. He should be replaced by Jeff Garcia, who had a breakout year this year with the Bucs. Do you remember him carrying the Eagles to the playoffs last year?

1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Brett Favre
4. Ben Roethlisberger
5. Tony Romo
6. Matt Hasselbeck
7. Drew Brees
8. David Garrard
9. Carson Palmer
10. Jeff Garcia

close.....but jeff garcia..........no way. palmer? why? what did he do?

Derek Anderson absolutely belongs on the list. Phillip Rivers absolutely doesn't.

are u serious? wheres eli manning? wheres brees? Wheres McNabb? Although I think Derek Anderson is pretty good just because he had 1 good yr doesn't make him a top 10 qb. Rivers isn't that good and Garcia is okay but not top 10

Y'all kill me lobbying for Eli Manning on the Top 10 QB list!

Tied for the league lead in INT's
Lower than all the following QB's that played OVER 10 games:
HARRINGTON
GRIESE
BOLLER
HUARD
Only 3300 passing yards with that receiving core?
Only Cleo Lemon had a lower completion percentage. 56.1%???

Stop mentioning his name.

even me, the proverbial philly hater would put mcnabb in the top ten. eli? he's getting there, but it would be a riot if he won the nfc championship without being a top ten. not too sure about rivers, either. better than some others though.

Dude I'm proud of ya man. I don't believe your views, but at least you showed me that you can be objective. Outstanding NYG Soldier!!!

i can always be objective. i just don't take well to insults and elementary bullshit that i get from most fans on here. thanks, man. on to g.b.

its Garrard.....i thought he earned more respect this year?

garrard had a great year and played a hell of a game against pittsburgh and n.e. i'd give him a vote.

NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT TONY ROMO IS THE 4TH BEST QUARTERBACK IN THE NFL. If it were between him and any of the people below him i would pick the people below him in a heart beat. Also drew brees should be in there. Here's my list:
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Donovan McNabb (when he's healthy)
Brett Favre
Drew Brees
Matt Haselback
David Garrard
Carson Palmer
Ben Rothlesburger
Jeff Garcia
Phillip rivers

still can't buy garcia........he looked like shit in the game against the giants. i think his better days are behind him. yes, he led philly to the playoffs last year, but he is sliding downhill. a team that really needs him though and where he might do some good is minnesota if t.b. doesn't keep him this year.

you are a dumbass romo is deff a top 5 look at the stats retard. garcia and rivers come on ?

good list....Carson would be a little higher on mine however...And Jeff Garcia wouldnt make the cut...All in all though I like it....

dude, I am not even a cowboys fan, but to say Romo is not in the top ten is absolutely crazy..do you watch football? His QB rating is in the top 4, he is second behind Brady in TD passes, and did I mention they had the top offense in the nfc..oh yea, the top scoring in the nfc...oh yea most yardage in passing.. come on

1ATom Brady
1BPeyton Manning
3)Brett Favre
4)Tony Romo
5)Carson Palmer
6)Matt Hassleback
7)Donavon McNabb
8)Gerard
9)Rothlisbooger
10)Drew Brees here's the correct list!!!!!

Carson's done what in two seasons to be at number 5. However, the list probably contains the right ten.

Can't leave Brees off this list tho.

i might be able to live with palmer. it's cincy's defense that keeps dropping the ball. well, i did see ocho cinco drop a few himself....lol.

yes, TB and PM, 1A and 1B...vice versa...have to stick Brees on list too...To defend Ben, the guy has a ring

THANK YOU! Everyone keeps hating on Carson... One so-so year and everyone forgets about him. I'd put him above Romo, but eh. Doesn't really matter.

and, what make this correct? it's close though. you can look at it from several different ways. and, rothlisbooger........??? don't say he doesn't belong there, but just spelling of his name that's funny unless you don't like pitt.

where is Sheli Manning???

Exactly where he should be. NOT on this list.

Let him have ONE YEAR above 80 QB rating, then we can talk. Especially with the weapons he has surrounding him. Give McNabb Burress, Toomer, Smith, and Shockey and he will have another +100 year.

he's in the nfc championship game

So he has played well in 2 straight games. Just that that fact is SO SURPRISING to everyone not named Eli should tell you he isn't an elite NFL QB.

If he plays two good SEASONS, maybe we can talk. Until then, stop trying to blow him up.

check out the 1-4 top players for each position i picked at...http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/Best_in_the_NFL_this_year/73332

here's my list:
1.Manning
2.Brady
3.Brett Favre
4.Brees
5.Roethlisberger
6.Garrard
7.Hasselbeck
8.Romo
9.Palmer
10.Manning

Others: D. Anderson, Garcia, Cutler, and Rivers

I agree with this top 10 a bit more....top 3 is in question but the rest are interchangeable IMO. Remember with Palmer was considered top 5?

i might have to go with Favre as the best now after thought it over

Brady
Favre
Manning
McNabb
Roethlisberger
Palmer
Romo
Brees
Garrard
Hasselbeck

gona have to flipflop those top two........brady just broke every record known to man this season.

That looks about right...Except TB's passer/completion rating was higher then Peytons this year..Consistently Manning is better, but 2007 TB

I have to say that Bret Farve is the best QB in the NFL. I say this as he's not only the holder of several of the records once held by the great Dan Marino, but also becuase he's not had the battery of HOF players around him to help him get those numbers. What I mean by that is that he's had no Jerry Rice, no Barry Sanders, no Kellen Winslow Sr., etc. to help him out. He's had a series of role players and that's it. He's done it pretty much all by himself.

And for that reason, I say that Bret Farve is by far the best QB in the NFL.
