I'm sure a lot of observers who watched the Broncos game against the Ravens last week came away thinking the Ravens had somehow created a blueprint to beating Denver, which is kind of silly, because, even though Baltimore had more success than other teams have had against Denver's defense, Josh McDaniels put together one of the stupidest offensive gameplans I've seen this season. Unless, he plans on replicating that week in and week out (and, hey, I wouldn't particularly mind) Monday night will hardly be a carbon copy of that game.The Ravens were playing up on the line pretty much the entire game. McDaniels' visionary counter to this was a steady diet of running up the gut and throwing receiver screens to Brandon Marshall. Which might have worked if Baltimore were running all-out jailbreak blitzes on every play. But obviously they weren't and it made for a strategy that played directly into Baltimore's hands.Any chance that Denver tries the same thing against the Steelers? I wouldn'...
