The Vikings have a 17-3 halftime lead on the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome. After winning the coin toss, the Vikings put together an 80-yard touchdown drive during which rookie receiver Percy Harvin caught two passes for 46 yards. Vikings Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson took a sweep left and edged safety Oshiomogho Atogwe and Rams rookie linebacker James Laurinaitis into the corner of the end zone. But, the Rams - leading the league in turnovers - coughed up three more, with quarterback Kyle Boller losing the ball as he was about to attempt a pass and running back Steven Jackson juggling the exchange inside the Vikings' 5-yard line. Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams pressured Boller, and defensive end Jared Allen scooped up the ball and sprinted 52 yards into the end zone to give his team a 14-0 lead.
