Robin Sports:
Heading into Fantasy Football Championship Week, we're giving you all a recap of our new addition to Start'em or Sit'em, the Yardage and Touchdown Locks, in this week's Start'em or Sit'em RECAP!. What a wild football weekend! Perhaps no play signifies that more than Brian Westbrook's decision to down the ball on the one yard line...I can't imagine how many fantasy matchups were decided by that 6-point swing! On a Sunday when so many big ticket superstars flopped (Brady, Romo, TO, Burress, and Gates to name a few), I think we hit our locks pretty well. We missed big on the Patriots, but I'm sure we weren't the only ones. Make sure to check back later this week for our Week 16 Start'em or Sit'em article!

The Nature Of The Beast
For the past ten years, the Eagles have employed Tra Thomas to protect Donovan McNabb's blind side. He's done it well, with two All-Pro selections and three Pro Bowls on his resume. And in perhaps the best testament to his performance, he started 165 out of 166 games. Or that the only time he's really been noticed is (a) when he tried to get his name changed (it didn...
TD Free
If you're anything like me, you avoid all initials and acronyms because they're more than likely a sexually transmitted infection.I'm quite certain that Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook and I have little in common (he has enough money to pay women to put up with his STIs), but Westbro...
Rams Retire Marshall Faulk's Number 28
Do you remember how good Marshall Faulk was? He was the LaDanian Tomlinson and Brian Westbrook of his time. He could do it all. He was a dominant force rushing the ball and receiving out of the backfield. An integral part of the "Greatest Show on Turf." Well, the Rams recognized Faulk for his accomplishments and contribution to their team by retiring his jersey number 28.
Let's Celebrate
What a weekend it was for Philadelphia sports fans. Let's start with the Phillies. They are on the verge of winning the World Series. I was at the game last night and had a chance to speak with Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins. They are so close and very ready to make it happen for all of us in Philly. One more win - tonight in Philadelphia would be nice - and the 25 year drought...
Trent Cole is Added to Pro Bowl
Defensive end Trent Cole has become the third member of the Eagles to receive a ticket to the Pro Bowl, joining running back Brian Westbrook and guard Shawn Andrews...
Eagels Talking to Free Agent LB Angelo Crowell
The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the team is talking to free agent LB Angelo Crowell. Below is the story:
The Eagles have contacted the agent for Bills free agent linebacker Angelo Crowell but have not made a contract offer, NFL.com is reporting. Crowell is represented by Todd France, who also represents Brian Westbrook. Crowell [...]
McNabb looks forward to staying with Eagles
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i still think that they brought him back before he was all the way healthy & MADE him feel worse by doing that-make sense? now that he's running again, they are all jumpin on the Donovan bandwagon....GUESS WHAT ANDY & FRONT OFFICE, you should have been on the...
McNabb or Kolb: Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results
Any Reid finally got the memo to run the ball and look at what happened. Brian Westbrook had 4 TD's. Of course the Cardinals defense isn't anything close to the Ravens defense, but I'm just saying that Donovan McNabb is only as good as his running game.
I, among most others, threw Donovan McNabb under the bus after the Bengals game. Four turnovers in that game, another...
Has a draft day decision come back to haunt the Philadelphia Eagles?
The Philadelphia Eagles fell to 2-3 and last place in the NFC East after losing to the Washington Redskins this past Sunday. To make matters worse, their biggest weapon, Brian Westbrook, sustained fractured ribs in the losing effort. So what happens if Westbrook can't go for a couple of weeks? Correll Buckhalter and Lorenzo Booker won't match the output of a healthy Brian...
Jeremy Shockey out 3-to-6 weeks
And another one bites the dust.
Yesterday, Brian Westbrook owners let out a collective gasp as the stud runningback limped off the field and into the locker room early against the Steelers. The news on Westbrook is decent today, as the Eagles are calling him day-to-day.
But today's news is bad for Saints' fans and Jeremy Shockey fantasy owners: Shockey owners can prepare...
Steelers exclude RB Willie Parker from passing attack
Willie Parker...0 receptions in 2008. Steelers are last in the NFL in RB receptions with 2 total catches. The Saints lead the NFL with 35 RB receptions (Bush has 26 by himself). This stat DOES matter.
Last year Parker had 23 receptions while LT had 60 catches, Frank Gore had 53, Larry Johnson had 30 catches in 8 games, Willis McGahee had 43, Earnest Graham had 49 in limited action...

• Brian Westbrook's infuriating fantasy day. [Randball]
• Sing, Dempsey, sing. [- Check out the post & scoring at Dirtlocker...
Eagles release Tony Hunt, sign linebacker White
The great Tony Hunt fullback experiment is now officially over and so is his tenure with the team. Hunt, a running back the Eagles tried to make into a fullback for the first 5 weeks of the season, was released by the team today. Hunt had already been removed from the fullback spot and replaced with Dan Klecko, so he was basically the teams 4th string running back when Brian Westbrook...
2009 Eagles Draft Needs - The Big Back
The 2008 season is filled with games we as fans will look back onand want to punch a hole in the wall. Chicago, Cincinnati, first Giantsgame, and both Washington losses are 5 off the top of my head. And thething that all these games had in common was the inability of theEagles' offense to gain that 1 tough yard. Some blame the Eagles ineptness on the offensive line. The loss ofShawn...
Eagles - Giants Rivalry: Who Scares You The Most?
Continuing our Rivalry series with Hot Stove New York, today we take a look at the player on our respective team that scares us the most.
Kwame (Hot Stove New York):
James Butler scares the crap out of me. He plays safety for the New York Giants. On the surface, the 4th year defensive back and starting safety for the Giants is a decent player. He accumulated 68 tackles and 3 interceptions...
