What a Moron

Denis Dillon is a moron for posting this article. The article is about Vince Young pursuing his degree during the off-season at Texas while the Titans are doing their off-season program. Why did I call him a moron? For this statement right here "It's admirable Young that has returned to school to continue working on his degree. But that's not going to help him become a better NFL quarterback." I mean why even mention that in this article? In an era where young players are trying to skip college all together for the fame and fortune at least he's going back to pursue his degree. I think its especially good for future NFL players, because in a league of no guaranteed contracts young players need to go back and get their degrees so they can have something to fall back on.

I've heard too many stories about young players that fall for the hype and skipped school or never went back thinking they could play forever only to suffer a devastating injury and never recovered from that. Now they're broke, hell some of them never caught on to a team. That's why I like Ovi Mughelli's blog about having something to fall back on after football.
