I have been reflecting about what a memorable time this has been for all of us interested in the greatest NFL rivalry of the decade. So here are a few memories, off the top of my head, from the Colts-Patriots games in recent years: * It started for me in 2001, when the thought was that the unbeaten Colts would take apart the Patriots without QB Drew Bledsoe. Some guy named Tom Brady was starting. And he got sacked in the first series by Brad Scioli. I remember thinking this was going to be easy. * It was easy, for the Patriots. They returned two Peyton Manning INTs for touchdowns in a 44-13 rout. It prompted a television reporter to ask coach Jim Mora the next day about if the offense ever practiced its tackling. Yeah, Mora was amazed at the question as many of us. Pretty ridiculous. * I would be remiss if I didn't mention LB Bryan Cox making an X-rated comment on a live radio feed after the game. He was trying to explain how the Patriots respected the Colts, but weren't ...
