Over the last week police in the Los Angeles area have had their hands full trying to track down one of their own, former police officer Christopher Dorner. The guy looks like a linebacker, is highly trained, and very angry after being let go from the Force.
So angry that he has already committed three revenge killings and their is reason to believe he is not done yet. Like many guys on a rampage, he wrote a manifesto and posted it to Facebook. It has since been removed, but not before copies of it were saved.
Upon reading it, it was discovered that he was/is a fan of quite a few people, among them is none other than embattled New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow:
“Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense
again and the game. You are not a good QB by todays standards, but you are a
great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN. You will be
‘Tebowing’ when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that
circus they call the Jets and away from the reality TV star, Rex Ryan, and Mark
I am sure if there is one person that can see a positive out of being mentioned in the manifesto of a guy that has killed three people and is currently on the run it would be Tim Tebow, but he has wisely kept silent with any thoughts he may have on Dorner and his case.
No need to attract the attention of a guy that has anger management issues and is well-versed in weapons.
Police have yet to apprehend Dorner (as of Sunday night), and have offered a one million reward for information leading to his arrest.

While Tim Tebow ponders where his next job calling signals may be, it didn't take long for some enterprising young followers to draft him for an even higher calling.
Just hours after it was announced that Pope Benedict XVI (that's 16 to those who still don't know what number Super Bowl XLVII is) was retiring, a Twitter account for @PopeTebow was up and running, but since...
Rex got his man, but he should've just walked away that night, muses the New York Dail News' Gary Myers. Per Myers: " The Daily News is reporting that Scott, Calvin Pace and Jason Smith will be cut before the 2013 salary cap kicks in for the start of the signing period on March 12.
Each NFL team is currently hard at work assembling its ‘big board’ of potential draft candidates, sorting through hundreds of names and the loads of information that comes along with each player. What’s sometimes forgotten, however, is where all that information comes from. Jeff Bauer, the New York Jets’ college scouting director, recently shined some light on the exhaustive...

February is Football Hibernation
The only football news that makes headlines in February aside from post Super Bowl fallout are the notable cuts. The big-name players. The Jets will be involved shortly when some underachieving vets are shown the door, but...
Former Giants running back told NFL AM (via NFL.com) that he wouldn’t mind playing for the New York Jets since he wouldn’t have to leave home. “In playing with the Giants, they had mentioned that there was a chance for me to come back. I’m always up for that,” Bradshaw told “NFL AM” on Tuesday. “Whatever, whoever needs me, whoever can use me. Whoever I feel that...
Ahmad Bradshaw did not waste any time putting his name into free agent circulation after being let go by the New York Giants.
He may have earned two Super Bowl rings with the Giants but that does not mean he will rule out a stint with their in-city nemesis the New York Jets.

According to Cimini, the Jets could save $3.8 million in cap space if they...

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist Woody Johnson owns the New York Jets, so he's no stranger to making big proclamations. Consider this one, just after the New York area won the bid for the first Super Bowl in an outdoor stadium in a cold weather market.
''I like doing things for the first time,'' Johnson said. ''I hope it snows...
In the end most players end up where they can get the most money, but for convenience I can see why Bradshaw would consider the Jets.
He wouldn’t to worry about any moving expenses.
“Whatever, whoever needs me, whoever can use me. Whoever I feel that I can get a better chance of playing and helping which team,” Bradshaw said. “The New York Jets are a team that I’ve kinda...
