It is really hard to watch the playoffs because the Cowboys are missing yet again. But I have definitely realized that the Cowboys had no business being a playoff team this season. The NFC playoff teams were all much more deserving than the Cowboys to be in the tournament. And I think the Cowboys would have lost to every team on the NFC side.Dave Campo is out as the defensive backs coach. I have mixed emotions on this move. When Campo was the head coach in the early 2000's I attended a training camp practice in Wichita Falls. He actually took about 5 minutes of his time after practice to talk with my friend and me about the team. I'll never forget that. He is a great guy. But, as a coach, it was time for him to go. I know a big part of the problem is the players but the cornerback play has been sub-par for years. There are a lot of teams in the league doing more with less talent at cornerback.I will be thrilled if Tony Sparano comes back to the Cowboys. He would ...

Dallas Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins to Have Surgery on Separated Shoulder
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins is finally going to get some relief from the pain from his separated right shoulder. Jenkins will have surgery on the shoulder this week, hopefully ending his problems with it. Jenkins separated the shoulder in several games this year, most recently in the Cowboys’ season finale loss to the New York Giants.

Callahan replaces retiring Cowboys assistant Houck
After 29 years in the NFL, Dallas Cowboys offensive line coach Hudson Houck has decided to step away from football. The 69-year-old recently declared his retirement, opening the door for the Cowboys to hire former Oakland Raiders and Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach Bill Callahan as his replacement.
Callahan was the assistant head coach and offensive line coach the past four seasons...

Cowboys Secondary Coach Dave Campo Will Not Return To Team In 2012
Dave Campo will not return as the secondary coach for the Dallas Cowboys. The contract of the veteran assistant expires this month and Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Campos departure will be the first step in repairing a pass defense that was horrendous this season. Cowboys 27, 49ers 24 (OT)
One week after taking perhaps the most criticism of his career for the Cowboys' meltdown against the Jets, quarterback Tony Romo delivered the grittiest game of his career in Week 2 against San Francisco.
Backup Plan
Coming off Tony Romo's best season, quarterback isn't an issue for the 8-8 Cowboys. The bigger question is depth. Stephen McGee is the only backup still under contract. Is he ready to be the full-time No. 2?
Report: Campo Out In 2012
After a decent bit of speculation, sources in contact with ESPN Dallas say that secondary coach Dave Campo will not return to the Cowboys in 2012.
Campo’s latest stint with the Cowboys dates back to 2008, but his history with the team runs a lot deeper than that. He has spent 18 of his 23 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, was a member of Jimmy Johnson’s original...
Sources: Campo won't be returning to Cowboys
Secondary coach Dave Campo will not return to the Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff next season, according to sources.
You’re doing a great job, Jonesie
Good news, Cowboys fans. Jerry Jones plans to look in the mirror and “make some changes,” according to a story on the WFAA-TV website.
Not sure what those changes are going to be, since he pretty much said after the season he wasn’t hiring a general manager.
It’s a poor comparison with regard to the importance of the issues at hand, of course, but I’ve always sort of envisioned...
