It was pretty evident from the first offensive series how things were gonna go for the Bears. Kyle Orton came up hobbled almost immedietely and it was clear he was still badly affected by the high ankle sprain he suffered against Detroit. When Orton was limping off the field after the first series, the Bears should have had Rex Grossman quickly warming up on the sideline. Its a miracle Orton didn't suffer another injury and further dim the Bears' already dismal post-season prospects. While I don't think Grossman would have altered the ultimate outcome, playing prevented Orton from potentially re-injuring his ankle. Kudos to Kyle for wanting to gut it out - that kind of heroics plays well in a locker room when it works. But he still should not have been on that field Sunday. The Bears have a tremendous group of tight ends and Greg Olson is going to be a stud in the NFL pretty soon. But the Packers completely - and rightfully - dissed the Bears receivers by single-covering...
