With NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sparking rumors of further expansion of the NFL in the UK in both the near and distant future, the feeling is that England may well be getting a franchise before too long. As a British New England Patriots fan, I feel like this is a good platform to air my views on this potential expansion, and hopefully encompass the general feeling of fans across the pond. I've been to the last two International Series games at Wembley (Chicago Bears @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers and of course the Pats @ St. Louis Rams), and they've both been great occasions. Obviously the opportunity to see a Tom Brady demolition was special, but also just experiencing a NFL gameday, seeing great players from a different perspective has been incredible. It's why I've got tickets for the Pittsburgh Steelers & Minnesota Vikings matchup this year, and planning on going to at least one game every year. And it's not just UK fans - people from all across Europe wi...

Another hint that a London/Los Angeles expansion of coming in the NFL

We received another indication this week that the NFL intends to eventually expand across the Atlantic Ocean, with commissioner Roger Goodell saying during a speech at NYU that the league will look to expand its annual series in London to three games "pretty soon," while also suggesting that placing a franchise there is a goal. Goodell indicates the NFL's hope...

An NFL Team in London is a Really Stupid Idea

The issue of the NFL in London, England has been on the table for decades with preseason games being played there in the past and now one regular season game each year. Now it appears that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is looking to get an NFL franchise in London. But it wouldn’t be a new franchise, rather Goodell is aiming to move a franchise located in the United States to London...

Jaguars Cheerleaders Are Already Adjusting To London

Roger Goodell said on Tuesday that the league may ask the Jaguars to play two games a year in London, even if the team has already indicated that it has no interest in doing so. What’s that? You dare defy the will of The Rog? HOW ABOUT YOU WATCH HIM DO A SET OF RING MUSCLE UPS AND RETHINK THAT. Still, the Jags are committed to playing one game in England over the next four years...

The NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell are hoping to eventually expand and put a team in London, but what about Los Angeles?

Cameras in Locker Room…NFL’s Worst Idea

In an effort to drive attendance, the NFL has made a huge mistake. Roger Goodell and the NFL have decided to reward fans who attend games. Sadly, it’s not to lower the cost of tickets and beer, which now averages around $450 for a family of four. Rather the NFL’s big idea is too allow cameras, without sound, in locker rooms during pre-game, half-time, and post game. This is...
