A Win is a Win and We’ll Take It

Thank you very much, Carolina Panthers.  Thank you for playing sloppier than the Giants.  Thank you for letting us beat you up in a way that was truly deserved after you stomped on us this past December in “old” Giants Stadium.  The Giants won yesterday, 31-18, and while it was ugly at times, it was a win.  And there was a LOT to be encouraged about. THE GOOD Where do we start?  The running game was okay.  Not great, but somewhat adequate.  Brandon Jacobs looked better than he did most of last year, and Ahmad Bradshaw looked good, making something of nothing a few times, and busting a 39-yard run that almost was a touchdown late in the game.  Eli Manning completed 2/3 of his passes for 263 yards, 3 touchdowns to Hakeem Nicks and 3 interceptions.  The picks were not all his fault, as passes were routinely tipped by the wide receivers.  But there could have been even more than 3.  The O-line was good, considering Kevin Boss had to leave early with a neck injury and Travis ...
