The Jacksonville Jaguars have now signed three draft picks in three days. Storm Johnson and Luke Bowanko signed their rookie deals earlier this week. Cornerback Aaron Colvin out of Oklahoma who the team drafted in the fourth round is the third. The Jaguars have signed fourth-round CB Aaron Colvin (@AColvin14). Three of nine draft selections signed and three in last three days. — John Oehser (@JohnOehser) May 21, 2014 It’s a four-year deal worth $2,673,152 with a signing bonus of $453,153. His salary cap hit for 2014 is $533,288. During the Senior Bowl, the Jaguars got a good look at Colvin who was on the South team. Unfortunately, he sustained an ACL injury and is still going through the rehabilitation process. Had it not been for the injury, he had been rated to go as high as the second-round on most draft boards. When head coach Gus Bradley ran into Colvin during the NFL Combine, he had a few encouraging words. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley pulled CB Aaron Colvin (ACL) aside at Combine and said "we're going to come get you." And they did — Mark Long (@APMarkLong) May 10, 2014 He is on schedule for a possible return that could happen at somepoint in the middle of the season. Bradley has said that it’s ‘crazy’ to think he can’t possibly contribute to the defense in 2014 and that Colvin is ‘pillar’ of the secondary. He isn’t a tall lanky, corner like Bradley’s use to having, but his skills will suit him well in press coverage. Follow Grant on Twitter @Future_NFL_GM.
