Found July 28, 2010 on The Jets Blog:
While he was drafted by the Jets and played for eight years in New York, word has leaked that Aaron Glenn will retire today as a member of the Texans, two years removed from his last day in a uniform,  by signing a one-day contract with the Texans, the team has announced. It would seem that Aaron Glenn might never have forgave the Jets for not protecting him in the expansion draft that sent him to the Texans.  And after us putting him in the TJB HOF too this week! Harrumph!! In all seriousness, Angel Navedo, who just wrote the induction of Glenn this week, wrote something that I think was profound on his Twitter account last night: Despite his decision, I can’t forget what he meant to to the Jets in my youth. He spurned the team, not my memories.  Regardless of [with whom] Glenn chose to file his retirement papers, he played his best years in a Jets uniform. Well said, Angel.
