Found July 08, 2013 on Patriots Life:
Ben Volin (@BenVolin) of the Boston Globe has said that Aaron Hernandez never failed a drug test while a member of the New England Patriots. In the last week reports came out about Hernandez's failed drug tests during his time at Florida, but a source in the Patriots organization makes it seem like he was a changed man in New England: ”He showed up to meetings and practices on time, practiced hard, stayed in shape, was very coachable, and starred on the field, scoring 18 touchdowns in three seasons” The source also mentioned that Hernandez would "tune out and occasionally become angry" if someone told him to distance himself from his friends in Connecticut. One thing that may be true is that Hernandez changed for the better while with the Patriots. The big flaw is that he held on to a large part of his problems from the past, his friends. @joeloobs @patriotslife csnne.com
