Rolling Stone‘s investigative piece about the months leading up to Aaron Hernandez‘s arrest on murder charges revealed a few interesting nuggets of information this week. But it may not all be true, at least so says Patriots president Jonathan Kraft.
Kraft joined 98.5 The Sports Hub for the Patriots’ pregame show at Gillette Stadium on Thursday night, during which he refuted some of the claims made in the story. Kraft questioned some of the tidbits in the story, wondering if it was more of a novel than a factual report, and even called some of the stuff reported “factually innaccurate.”
“Reading the article, there were two, three, four things in particular that I saw that are completely, factually inaccurate,” Kraft said. “I don’t know the facts around the other pieces of the story, but it really makes me question it.”
One of the big storylines that Kraft took issue with on Thursday was the notion that Hernandez had flown to the NFL combine in Indianapolis this past Feburary and tol...

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had absolutely nothing to say when asked by the media about the new Rolling Stone article about Aaron Hernandez.
According to the Rolling Stone article on Aaron Hernandez, if he somehow gets out of prison in a few years, there are some teams that would be interested in signing him.
“His principle nemesis at this point is likely to be the five gun charges levied against him; I think they got him dead to right on most of those,” Solotaroff said. “But as crazy as it sounds, this is a guy...

getty images Will Tim Tebow make the final cut for the New England Patriots? That question will be answered soon by head coach Bill Belichick. Tebow was 6-of-11 for 91 yards, with two touchdowns...
Why’d you do it, Rolling Stone?
After already angering much of Boston last month with the cover story on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the magazine this time ruins an otherwise sterling feature on Aaron Hernandez by allowing plagiarist Ron Borges to sully the work of writer Paul Solotaroff.
While Joe Sullivan was having his Boston Globe writers out talking to private investigators and handwriting...

Bill Belichick has seen everything he needs from his prominent players this preseason.
Quarterback Tom Brady and many key starters will not play in tonight's preseason finale according to two sources. That means quarterbacks Ryan Mallett and Tim Tebow along with backups throughout the depth chart on both sides of the ball will have ample opportunities to show their stuff.
Robert Kraft has learned not to meddle when it comes to roster decisions. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be lobbying Bill Belichick if there’s a player or two he’d like to see make the cut, such as a certain Tim Tebow.
Tebow’s time as a Patriot may be close to ending as New England trims its roster down to its final 53 players. While some people think Tebow has a future...
