As the homicide investigation surrounding Aaron Hernandez continues, a slightly related -- but largely more innocuous -- discovery has been made.
His dogs live in style.
On Saturday, Massachusetts state police officers -- both uniformed and plainclothes -- and a K-9 unit probed in and around the house of the Patriots' embattled tight end. One of the reporters on scene, Kevin Armstrong of the New York Daily News, revealed via Twitter a picture of Hernandez's enormous doghouse.
The two-story (really?) doghouse sits in the backyard of Hernandez's North Attleboro mansion, which has been the subject of investigation since one of Hernandez's "associates" was recently murdered.
It's unclear what lucky dog inhabits the digs, but he/she may have to share for the time being.
