Naturally, the media has begun digging into the former All-Pro’s past, and reports of numerous prior altercations have sprung up from different publications. Hernandez’ time at the University of Florida has come under much scrutiny – and former coach Urban Meyer has been getting slammed as a result. While Meyer himself has not responded to the criticism, as Bob Hunter of The Columbus Dispatch points out, his family members have. His wife, Shelley, and his daughter, Gigi, both expressed how they felt about the situation on Twitter on Wednesday.
