Aaron Rodgers won Sunday, but the reigning NFL MVP might have been the only one who wasn't impressed with his play in Week 9. The Packers quarterback got the day off to a good start, throwing for three touchdowns in a convincing 31-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field. "At the end of the day, as long as you got No. 12, you don't have to give a [expletive] who else you got out there," Arizona defensive end Darnell Dockett said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "They didn't do nothing dramatic that we didn't know he was going to do. He's been doing it all year." Safety Adrian Wilson also had high praise for Rodgers. "He's the best quarterback in the game right now," Wilson said, according to NFL.com. "If you've got a great quarterback, you can do a lot of different things." The Packers are doing a lot of winning things right now, too. They've won four in a row entering the bye week, and a lot of it has to do with Rodgers' play in those games. In the last four games, Rodgers has thrown 13 touchdowns and just one interception.  No. 12's successful Sunday extended beyond the gridiron as he was then on display for the nation to see a few hours later, with a 60 Minutes profile of the QB hitting the airwaves. And while the interview may have painted the Packers passer as a little insecure and sensitive about his height, the profile portrayed him as an underdog done good, living the dream in the NFL's version of Small Town, America. However, Rodgers wasn't too impressed with himself, at least for his performance Sunday. "I didn't throw it very well today," Rodgers said, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "I threw it in the dirt, got Jordy [Nelson] hurt and then just was off. I wasn't in a great rhythm. I made a couple of decent throws for touchdowns, but it wasn't one of my better games. "I've got to play better," Rodgers said. "We need to do a better job of closing out games like this, especially when they're giving us the opportunity." If Rodgers (25 touchdowns, five interceptions) can actually improve over the course of the rest of the season, it will be near impossible to debate the claims of Dockett, Wilson and likel plenty of other opponents. Photo of the Day Jason Garrett, how ya doin' buddy? Quote of the Day "You lose a game like that, now you're playing to see who obviously is going to be on your football team for years to come. I'll get a chance to evaluate players and see where we're at."--That's just Mike Shanahan basically giving up on the season down in Washington Tweet of the Day NO! :-( Video of the Day The big dude in jorts (especially at the 0:45 mark) is worth pushing play for.
