Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn “amicably” ended their three-year relationship last week, per reports. But now a source is indicating the Green Bay Packers quarterback was the one who decided to break things off with the actress.

“The big issue is that Olivia doesn’t get along with his family. They think she’s controlling,” the source told US Weekly, per a New York Post report.

Munn has long been believed to be the primary source of a longstanding estrangement between Rodgers and his family. A source once stated that the actress has a “strong personality” and that “every meeting she has had with [Rodgers’ family] has gone badly” since the supercouple began dating in 2014.

“Aaron is the one that has pulled away from the family, not the reverse,” the source said. “When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family.”

As noted, the belief Munn served as a catalyst to Rodgers’ family feud is nothing new. Reports going back to last summer suggested Munn’s integral role in the conflict. Munn has even been blamed by Packers fans for Rodgers’ struggles on the field.

Rodgers’ issues with his family also received significant coverage due to Rodgers’ brother Jordan’s appearance on last season’s edition of “The Bachelorette.”

It’s noted in the most recent report that Rodgers and Munn “went through a rough patch” last year and “their issues have been going on forever.”

It certainly appears the couple’s relationship reached its breaking point after apparently some time of discord. And if recent reports are accurate, we now know why.
