What did we learn on Day 2 of the “Is Aaron Rodgers engaged,” saga? That Aaron Rodgers, on his ESPN Wisconsin radio show, wouldn’t confirm or deny that the giant rock on his girlfriend’s finger is an engagement ring.
Host Jason Wilde, who said on Monday he wouldn’t ask Rodgers such intrusive questions, sorta changed his tune today, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
LISTEN TO FULL SHOW – HERE – 11-13-12 show. He immediately gets into the Vandy-Ole Miss discussion. 7:00 mark is when Wilde sorta asks him if he wants to share the big news.
He talked about his reaction to the concussions suffered on Sunday by quarterbacks Michael Vick of the Eagles, Alex Smith of the 49ers and Jay Cutler of the Bears.
But he declined to talk about speculation that he became engaged over the team’s bye week.
“Anything else happen during the bye week?” reporter Jason Wilde of WAUK-AM (540) asked Rodgers after they had talked about attending his brother’s game. “Because boy, oh, boy I sure get a lot of questions on Twitter.”
Rodgers did not answer.
“Nothing?” Wilde said.
Rodgers grunted, indicating he was not interested in talking about the story.
Rodgers was, however, in the mood to talk about the drunken idiots at Ole Miss who were allegedly acting like fools during the Vandy game.
“Whoever was checking tickets, they were letting a bunch of intoxicated fans, both young and old, interrupt not only my family but the fans around us too many times. Which led to me actually being a little worried about the safety of some of my friends around us, the fellow parents and my parents as well, because of the inebriation of some of those fans.”
We’ll assume Aaron’s dodging of the first question as confirmation that there are prenuptial papers being drawn up by a lawyer.

BEST OF MAXIM
Apparently "60 Minutes" isn't going to sit back and let Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers take shots at it without a response. After Rodgers told the Detroit media in a conference call on Wednesday that his feature story on "60 Minutes" was "cut for their purposes, their agenda," the CBS news magazine fired back at the NFL's Most Valuable...
That is either a giant engagement ring being worn by Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend Destiny Newton or the couple was just playing a huge trick on Busted Coverage Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi at the Vandy-Ole Miss game.
Here we are just days after we brought you the exclusive on the Ryan Braun-Larisa Fraser engagement and now the other Wisconsin hero is (highly likely to be) engaged...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Any inquiries about Aaron Rodgers' personal life are consistently met with an immediate dismissal by the Packers' MVP quarterback. As reports surfaced this week that Rodgers is now engaged to his girlfriend, the fiercely private 28-year-old refused to discuss it during his Wednesday interview with local media.
"My personal life is my personal life...
In a move that I'm sure shocked his male roommate, it appears Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has recently been engaged to random blonde "woman," Destiny Newton. Speculation on this topic has run rampant after Rodgers and Newton were seen watching Aaron's younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, help Vanderbilt pull out a win against Kentucky this last weekend...
We tried to warn Wisconsin media types last week that BC was about to dominate their asses on salacious sports/entertainment news. Then we broke the news that Ryan Braun was engaged to Larisa Fraser. A few outlets blew us off as just being some annoying, disgraceful blog that investigates stupid athlete relationship stories for pageviews.
Then, on Monday, we took two screencaps...
You can put the gay rumors to rest. Well maybe you can (remember Rock Hudson). Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is supposedly engaged to a self-described hard-drinkin’, Jack Daniels and fly-fishin’ lovin’ girl named Destiny Newton. The proof? The ring she was flashing on her engagement ring hand/finger on television Saturday night.
If you look at the screen grabs...
Hot News for QB Aaron Rodgers
First, he sighed.
Detroit Lions middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch then replied not with a name but a jersey number - "12" - when asked what had stood out about Green Bay's offense during his pregame video study.
That's the kind of dehumanizing effect Aaron Rodgers can have on opposing defenses.
No NFL quarterback is hotter entering the FOX America's Game...
Evan Dietrich-Smith hears all the nice things Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy are saying about him and does what he always does.
He gets back to work.
Two years after he was cut by the Packers at the end of training camp and spent most of the season looking for work, Dietrich-Smith has become indispensable in Green Bay. Versatile enough to play any spot...
