This year's Most Valuable Player is perhaps the least cut and dry decision in recent memory. There are at least two legitimate candidates worthy of the honor, and seemingly no clear consensus. Last year's MVP, Aaron Rodgers, has already cast his ballot. "You've got to go with the quarterback," Rodgers told USA Today. That quarterback would be Peyton Manning, who's led the Broncos to 11 straight wins, a division title, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs as the AFC's top seed. Statistically, Manning is on par with Rodgers' 2011 campaign, in which he threw for 4,643 and 45 touchdowns. Peyton's numbers: 4,659 yards and 37 touchdowns, one year removed from a quartet of career-threatening neck surgeries. Adrian Peterson, however, might have something to say about that. The Vikings' superstar ran for 2,097 yards -- nine short of the all-time record -- and 12 touchdowns in 2012, leading the NFL in yards from scrimmage ...

Denver Broncos: 5 Reasons Why They Won't Win The Super Bowl

It all seems to be going to plan right?John Elway signs Peyton Manning in the off-season. Aaron Rodgers not upset over tweets from Greg Jennings’ sister

Broncos' Manning earns AFC Offensive Player of the Month

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning tied another NFL record Thursday when he earned his sixth career AFC Offensive Player of the Month award. Manning joined Kurt Warner (2001) as the only players with 10 TDs, 1,300 yards, a 70 percent completion percentage and five wins in December as the Broncos (13-3) took the top seed in the AFC playoffs. Manning completed 123 of 174...

Manning has made all of the Broncos better

John Elway insisted that every one of the Denver Broncos was better the second Peyton Manning put his signature on that nearly $100 million contract last spring. Indeed, all have prospered from the arrival of the meticulous quarterback whose work ethic generated, as coach John Fox also predicted, a lifting of all boats. While Manning was turning what began as a season of mystery...

Notebook: Rodgers’ mobility a Pack advantage

The Packers were able to keep drives alive with a short passing game and Aaron Rodgers extending plays. In the minds of Vikings defenders, that was a major difference-maker.

Packers advance with win vs. Vikes

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers showed how dangerous they can be when they're at full strength Saturday night, overwhelming the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 in an NFC wild-card game that was never really close. Packers To Have Deals Done With QB Aaron Rodgers, LB Clay Matthews Before April?

On the Packers' contract front, it’s been assumed since before the season began that it would be only a matter of time before the team re-ups with the players widely considered to be its best performers on both sides of the ball — offensive centerpiece Aaron Rodgers and defensive centerpiece Clay Matthews. Rodgers, who displayed his 2011 MVP form the second half of this...

Playoff Preview: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

Minnesota forced it’s way into the playoffs last week with a home victory against the Pack, however Green Bay won the division. Like their other games, Saturday will be feature Minnesota’s Adrian...
