Adam Jones, of the Cincinnati Bengals, turned himself in to police a day after his most recent run in with the law.  He was charged with assaulting a woman at a bar, but Jones has maintained that he was innocent and it was out of self-defense.  The truth lies in the tape though. If you watch closely, you can see the woman start the conversation with Jones and then eventually she hits him in the face with a beer bottle.  Jones reacts by slapping her and then gets dragged away from the scene from his friend.  Based on the video evidence, I’d have to say that for once Jones wasn’t at fault and he should be cleared.  Jones plead not guilty to the charges earlier on Tuesday. Per @AP, #Bengals CB Adam Jones has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge. Jones is claiming it was in self-defense after a woman hit him — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) June 11, 2013 [ESPN 1530]

  • If you watch closely you can see Jones walks away and returns and that return is enough to have several people get up and leave. Wonder who was harrassing who? Then if you watch closely no one was hit with a bottle, she poured a beer on him and he either slapped her or slugged her. If she threw a beer bottle at him not sure how she still had it when he hit her. She shouldn't of poured a beer on him but please don't make it she hit him in the face with a bottle when they didn't happen.
