The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed kicker Adam Vinatieri to a 2 year deal that should keep the veteran kicker with the team until his retirement.Vinatieri is known as one of the most clutch players to ever play the game, with 2 of his 4 Super Bowl rings coming because of his last second kicks. Vinatieri has also proven to be clutch for the Colts, winning countless games in the final minutes thanks to his big kicks. With a weak free agency market, and an average at best draft, it was key for the Colts to keep Vinatieri as a suitable replacement was probably not on the market. Vinatieri proved last season that he still has plenty in the tank. The deal is 2 years and it`s worth 5 million dollars, meaning it`s an average of 2.5M a year. The Colts have officially locked up their kicker and their punter, but still have many impending unrestricted free agents.
