Flozell Adams isn’t sure whether he’ll he come back for his 14th season or call it a career according to Mike Bires of the Beaver County Times.

There was speculation that Adams, the 35-year-old right tackle, would retire if the Steelers won Super Bowl XLV. But in the moments after the 31-25 loss to the Packers, Adams wasn’t in the mood to talk about his future.

“This game just finished so we will worry about next year when the time comes,” he said.

Adams joined the Steelers on July 30 when he was signed to replace Willie Colon, who missed the whole season due to an off-season injury.

All season long, members of the Steelers’ offense said they wanted to help Adams reach the Super Bowl for the first time. In the 12 years he played in Dallas, Adams never got close to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys went 1-5 in the playoffs during Adams’ stay.

“Playing all the seasons I have, you have to keep perspective on things,” Adams said. “Even though we lost, it was still a great season. Unfortunately we lost, but we made it here. We tried to do the best we could, but we didn’t get the win.”
